December brought some encouraging developments. The public debate on the Forest Management Plan in Bruiu has been postponed following our complaints, showing that persistence pays off. Additionally, the court decision regarding the fences was favorable to our interests.
On Sunday, January 18, we invite you to a practical workshop at Moara Veche in Hosman. As logging becomes increasingly visible and widespread in the region, the workshop aims to clarify what is legal, what is illegal, and how citizens can actively contribute to protecting forests. We are also excited to share that the first goal of the crowdfunding campaign for Movile has been reached – a great start that gives us momentum for the next phase of the project.
